Gnomon celebrates the success of receiving the 2015 School of Excellence Award at the 9th Annual ACCSC Professional Development Conference
The School of Excellence Award is a high honor bestowed upon ACCSC-accredited institutions recognized for delivering and maintaining high levels of achievement among their students. In September, Gnomon was invited to attend an official ceremony at the 2015 Professional Development Conference in Arlington, Virginia, where the successful ACCSC-accredited schools were celebrated.
ACCSC-accredited institutions are eligible for the School of Excellence Award every five years, subject to meeting the conditions of renewing of accreditation with ACCSC without any findings of non-compliance. Institutions must satisfy all requirements necessary to be in good standing with the Commission, and demonstrate a high level of student achievement, including rates of graduation and graduate employment, in the majority of the programs offered at the school.
“We are humbled and honored to have received this prestigious award,” said Gnomon’s School Director, Patricia Winters. “All of us at Gnomon are deeply gratified that our hard work and continuous diligence toward excellence was especially noted.”
