Join us Friday, January 22nd for an exclusive live demo with character artist and Gnomon alumni Ashley Stegon.
Using a “throwback” drawing from early on in her education, Ashely will show her process of taking a 2D drawing into a 3D software. Viewers will get a close-up look at how traditional art skills relate to making amazing digital art and hear from Ashley about how 3D software is a great medium for artists who like to draw and paint. During this livestream event, our host, Adam Hartel, will also chat with Ashley about her artistic journey, her experience at Gnomon, and her professional career.
Events with closed captioning are available via the Gnomon Facebook page.
Gnomon's full-time programs and 10-week individual courses are designed to develop well-rounded artists that are skilled in the diverse disciplines within 3D production. For those outside of the US, virtual classroom-style online courses are also available.
Ashley grew up in San Diego and moved to L.A. in high school to pursue a career in film or games. She worked at Legacy Effects for four years as a character artist for rapid prototyping and currently works at Cloud Imperium Games as a Character Artist.
Ashley is a 2016 Gnomon Alumni who graduated from Gnomon's certificate program, studying Modeling and Texturing
