Calling all fans of prehistoric hijinks! Gnomon is proud to welcome an all-star alumni panel for a behind the scenes look at The Croods: A New Age. While we don't have Grug, Eep, Ugga or Thunk, we have rounded up the people who helped bring them and their world to life on the big screen. Courtney Chun, Ronnie Cleland, and Leticia Gillett will break down what it was like to work on the Golden Globe-nominated film and share insights into what their path from Gnomon to studio life looked like.

During the livestream, Courtney, Ronnie, and Leticia will discuss their individual roles (from sculpting and modeling, environment and lighting to surfacing and grooming) and how each department connects so work can be integrated into the production pipeline smoothly. Viewers will get to see exclusive work to understand the step-by-step process of creating these wacky characters and their colorful paradise!

Whether you’re interested in creating characters and environments, learning how 3D software is used to build assets or are just a fan of DreamWorks Animation, you won’t want to miss this exciting event.

Watch the stream on the Gnomon Twitch Channel, YouTube Channel, and Facebook Live on Thursday, March 25th at 7:30 p.m. PDT.

Events with closed captioning are available via the Gnomon Facebook Live page.

Gnomon's full-time programs and 10-week individual courses are designed to develop well-rounded artists that are skilled in the diverse disciplines within 3D production. For those outside of the US, virtual classroom-style online courses are also available.

Concept to creation is the name of the game and look dev has allowed him to participate with almost all spectrums of production. Finessing shader properties and painting texture quality to achieve the most resolution and appealing result on screen is his forte.
