Join us Thursday, September 24 for an evening with Concept Environment Artist Olivier Dubard as he discusses what it takes to make a detailed and captivating cinematic world design from concept to completion.

In this interpretation of Frank Frazetta’s Death Dealer, Olivier will show how he imagines and creates a cinematic sequence experience. From finding inspiration to executing a design, this presentation will walk you through the process of creating a universe. Olivier will start by explaining where he wishes to take this project. He will dive into the inspiration and why it came to be and discuss the process of gathering references since the subject is an already existing character from Frank Frazetta. Viewers will hear Olivier talk about creating storyboards in order to lay the foundations and watch as he creates the characters, the environments, and the keyframes.

This livestream-only event will feature a 30-minute Q&A session at the end of the presentation. Watch the livestream presentation on the Gnomon Twitch Channel, YouTube Channel, and Facebook Live.

Gnomon's Bachelor of Fine Arts, Certificate in Digital Production, and 10-week individual courses are designed to develop well-rounded artists that are skilled in the diverse disciplines within 3D production. For those outside of the US, virtual classroom-style online courses are also available.
