Join us on Thursday, March 3rd, at 7:30 pm for an evening with Jared Krichevsky, Character and Creature Artist from The Aaron Sims Company. Six years of experience working at the Los Angeles-based design and visual effects studio have offered Jared the opportunity to craft all manner of creatures and characters to satisfy a range of challenging briefs. His credits include Wonder Woman, Underworld 5, Pete’s Dragon, Independence Day: Resurgence, and many more films currently in production. Jared will share insight into a selection of his personal and professional works, including concepts recently designed for Gods of Egypt. As well as discussing his role in the design process for films and revealing how he utilizes ZBrush to craft movie-quality concepts, he will also give a live demo to display his techniques in action. His showpiece will be a unique interpretation of a mythological god. “I always look forward to talking with students and ZBrush fanatics alike, but I'm most excited to be up on the Gnomon stage; it's a great honor,” Jared says.
The event is free and open to the public. Entry is by RSVP only, and seating is first-come-first-served. To watch the full event online, follow Gnomon on Livestream. Online viewers can pitch questions to Jared live on Twitter using #gnomon.
