Christophe Desse joins our Instructor Spotlight series to talk about life at a game studio, working on The Last of Us Part II, and how Gnomon’s classes prepare students who are interested in working in the game industry.

Gnomon's instructors are working professionals who bring unique experiences and perspectives into the classroom, and Christophe is no exception! As Lead Technical Artist at Naughty Dog, he has worked on several AAA games including The Last of Us Part II and the Uncharted franchise. As a Gnomon instructor, he teaches his students how to create amazing textures and shaders for game assets.

During this interview, we will talk with Christophe about his journey as an artist, what it is like to work on some of the most popular games out there, and what you can expect when learning from him at Gnomon. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask your questions in the chat!

Immediately following the interview, our host Adam Hartel will share a brief informational session about the Gnomon student experience and the various careers for artists within the Visual Effects, Animation, and Games industries.
