On Thursday, August 20 join Epic Games' Quixel Evangelist and Producer, Galen Davis, for a full, in-depth walkthrough of the Megascans ecosystem, a massive online scan library with thousands of photorealistic 3D and 2D assets immediately ready to use. Quixel Megascans has been used to create many projects such as Lumen in the Land of Nanite, the recent demo that revealed Unreal Engine 5.
During this event, Galen will discuss everything you need to know about the Megascans ecosystem to take your projects to the next level. Galen will cover Bridge, Quixel’s asset management and content browser; Mixer, Quixel’s all-in-one texturing tool; and the full integration into Unreal Engine. Galen will showcase how you can effortlessly mix materials, 3D paint custom objects, or any asset in the Megascans library, all for free using Quixel Mixer and Unreal Engine.
This livestream-only event will be an interactive presentation, featuring a 30-minute Q&A session at the end of the interview. Watch the livestream presentation on the Gnomon Twitch Channel, YouTube Channel, and Facebook Live.
Gnomon's full-time programs and 10-week individual courses are designed to develop well-rounded artists that are skilled in the diverse disciplines within 3D production. For those outside of the US, virtual classroom-style online courses are also available.
