Veteran character modeler and Gnomon alumni Leticia Gillet will join Gnomon recruiter Adam Hartel for an exclusive interview to discuss Leticia’s career and personal journey as an artist. From Brazil, to Gnomon, to Blizzard Entertainment and Netflix Animation, Leticia will give insight into her experience moving across the globe to pursue her passion. She will describe what it was like working at companies such as Blizzard Entertainment and Netflix Animation. Leticia will share her advice on becoming a character modeler.

Leticia is a 3D modeler and texture artist with a focus on bringing characters to life. Before coming to the US, Leticia worked in Brazil with Archviz , in commercial houses as a 3D generalist and taught for 3 years on the subjects of Archviz and 3D Character Creation. Leticia moved from Brazil to follow her dreams of studying at Gnomon School of Visual Effects. While there, she studied a ton and met amazing artists. After finishing school, Leticia worked for various studios including Disney Consumer Products, Blizzard Entertainment as a 3D Character Artist on Overwatch, Dreamworks as a 3D modeler and Netflix Animation as a Character development artist. Today, Leticia lives in Los Angeles with her husband, strange cat Mia and her crazy dog Sadie, currently working at Walt Disney Animation Studios as a Character Modeler.
As Recruiter, Adam travels to high schools, community colleges, and trade shows to educate prospective students about Gnomon’s academic options and provide information about careers in the entertainment industry. With over two decades of experience working in nonprofit, Adam has used his skills in visual art, photography, and design to create socially conscious initiatives in collaboration with art students and professionals. He has lived and worked abroad in Norway and the Netherlands while traveling Europe as a community developer and public speaker. Adam holds a Bachelor of Arts from LIFE Pacific University.
