Follow the outlined processes below to ensure you will achieve graduate status and are prepared for the graduation ceremony.

How to Achieve Graduate Status:

Prior to the Graduation Ceremony:

  • Submit a Graduation Petition form to Registrar by the deadline of Monday, June 9, 2025.
  • Submit your Demo Reel to Placement by the deadline, July 14, 2025. Further details will be sent to your Gnomon email.
  • RSVP for yourself and your guests by July 21, 2025.
  • Review the COVID-19 Protocols below for you and your guests.
  • Review FAQ's.

5:30 pm - Check-In and Refreshments:

Graduation Ceremony Welcome Desk (3rd Floor Reception)

All graduates and guests must check in at the Graduation Ceremony Welcome Desk outside the 3rd-floor reception before entering.

Please use the escalators to reach the third floor.

Guests are encouraged to take photos, enjoy beverages, and socialize before the ceremony.

6 pm - Ceremony: Gnomon Stage

The ceremony will begin promptly at 6 pm on the Gnomon Stage (1st floor).

Recording and Photography:

This event will be photographed. By entering this space, you agree and grant irrevocable permission to have your likeness, image, voice, and appearance photographed and recorded to be used in Gnomon marketing and outreach.

RSVP for Grads & Guests

Graduate RSVP

All graduates must RSVP to confirm their attendance at the ceremony. 

Guest RSVPs

Graduates may RSVP for up to four (4) guests (family or friends). This limit helps us comply with venue capacity regulations and uphold safety protocols.
RSVPs will close at 6:00 PM on Monday, July 21, 2025

RSVP Required for Entry

Once you submit your RSVPs, you and your guests will be added to the official sign-in list at the Welcome Desk. 
These guidelines will be strictly enforced.

Graduation Highlight Reel Submission Guidelines 

Please note: this reel is separate from your professional demo reel used for job or career purposes. 

This should be an edited one-minute highlight reel, exclusively for the Gnomon graduation ceremony, intended to showcase your best work for presentation to friends, family, and the Gnomon community

Submission Guidelines: 

  • Your reel must not exceed one (1) minute in length. 
  • Include a slate (title card) with your name clearly displayed for 3–5 seconds at both the beginning and end of the reel. 
  • No late submissions or edits will be accepted after the deadline.

Guidelines

Graduate and Guest Guidelines

  • Guests/graduates are encouraged to dress for the special event.
  • Seats are on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be saved or reserved.

Venue Guidelines

  • All attendees will be listed and must check in at the Welcome Desk.
  • Event staff reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone.
  • This event will be photographed and/or recorded. By entering this space, you agree and grant irrevocable permission to have your likeness, image, voice, and appearance photographed and recorded to be used in Gnomon marketing and outreach.

Schedule Guidelines

  • The event begins at 5:30 pm and ends at 8:30 pm. The ceremony will begin at 6:00 pm.
  • Stage doors will be closed 5 minutes prior to the ceremony to avoid any disruptions during the event.

COVID Protocols

COVID-19 protocols and guidelines are subject to change.

As of today, below is our policy:

  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or vaccination exemptions are no longer required.   
  • COVID-19 vaccinations are encouraged.   
  • COVID-19 booster vaccinations are encouraged.  
  • Masking for both indoor and outdoor campus activities is strongly recommended.  

The ceremony will be held on Gnomon’s Stage, which will be a closed space during the ceremony. Gnomon will provide campus-wide PPE Supplies for all graduates and their guests. Masking is strongly recommended, particularly in areas where distancing is not possible or large crowds are present. The College has Aerus Pure & Clean with ActivePure Technology air filtration units placed and activated for our event, and the HVAC system in use has advanced filtration, heightening MERV, and HEPA standards for internal air filtration for your comfort.

Important Note: If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or feel ill, for the health and safety of all, please do not attend the graduation ceremony. We suggest that all individuals not feeling well remain home, contact a medical provider, and arrange for a COVID-19 test immediately.
