Behind the Scenes of The Bad Guys 2

Rachael has been working at DreamWorks as a Look Development artist for 6 years. 

She has worked on Trolls World Tour, Boss Baby Family Business, Puss in Boots the Last Wish, Ruby Gillman Teenage Kraken, Kung Fu Panda 4, Bad Guys 2 and is now working on Shrek 5.

Dakota is an FX Artist working in feature animation at DreamWorks, and has contributed effects work to several films including Kung Fu Panda 4, The Wild Robot, and Bad Guys 2. A Gnomon Alumni, Dakota graduated from the two year Digital Production program with a specialization in Effects Animation back in 2022.

Yorie Kumalasari is an FX Artist at DreamWorks Animation, where she has been working since 2018.

Originally from Indonesia, she moved to the U.S. to attend graduate school at New York University. Yorie worked as a 3D generalist for a few years but always had a strong interest in effects. In 2012, she began taking Houdini classes at Gnomon and soon after started her career as an effects artist.

She was the Effects Lead on Kung Fu Panda 4 and Trolls Holiday Special 2, and received an Annie Award nomination for her work on Kung Fu Panda 4.

Before joining DreamWorks, Yorie worked at several studios, including Walt Disney Animation Studios, The Mill, Digital Domain, Framestore, and Method Studios.

Brooke Shay Bradford is a Supervising Animator at DreamWorks Animation, with credits including The Bad Guys 2, Kung Fu Panda˜4, Trolls Band Together, and Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. She has been animating for feature films and commercials since 2009, having previously worked at studios such as Buck, Duncan Studio, a52, Psyop, Sony Pictures Imageworks, and Reel FX before joining DreamWorks.

Named one of Variety's "10 Animators to Watch" in 2025, Brooke is known for her specificity in character-driven performance. Drawing on a rich background in dance, choreography, art, and acting, she brings a dynamic and authentic quality to every performance she animates.
