Join us on Monday, March 13th for an exciting discussion with a panel of esteemed alumni who are just beginning to make their mark in the industry!
These recent graduates have a unique perspective and are eager to share their stories about finding success both on and off campus.
We are honored to have the following alums join us on the Gnomon Stage: David Eisenstadt, Caleb Moore, Dakota Smith, Kris Yu, Jillian Ubando, and Ethan Clark. This talented panel will discuss their artistic journeys, including the challenges they faced and the solutions they found along the way. They will also share samples of their artwork, talk about their experiences preparing for their careers post-graduation, and provide advice to artists looking to follow in their footsteps.
Whether you're a current student or just starting to explore a digital art education, you won't want to miss this opportunity to learn from artists who can speak to where you are and where you'd like to go! Be sure to RSVP to reserve a seat inside the stage and stick around for an audience Q&A at the end of the panel discussion.

Dakota Smith
Effects Artist
Dakota recently graduated from Gnomon’s two-year Digital Production program in the fall of 2022. While at Gnomon, he elected to be a part of the Visual Effects Animation track to develop his skills as an effects artist for feature films and television. Currently, he’s working in feature animation as an Effects Artist for DreamWorks.
David Eisenstadt
Look Development Artist
David Eisenstadt is a Look Development Artist at DreamWorks Animation who graduated from the 3D Generalist track at Gnomon in December 2022 with a BFA in Digital Production. He is just starting to make his way in the feature animation industry but is eager to continue learning both at work and in life.
Ethan Clark
CG Generalist
Ethan is a 3D Generalist and a recent graduate of Gnomon. He specializes in environment modeling, texturing, lighting, and compositing. He was recently hired at CheckpointVFX, where he works as an environment generalist on a stylized feature film.
Jillian Ubando
3D Artist
Jillian is a CG Generalist who recently graduated from Gnomon's Digital Production program. She is currently booked at Elastic and will be joining Harmony Korine's team at EDGLRD (pronounced "edge lord") next week. She has worked for figures such as James Cameron & Kim Kardashian, & her work has been featured at live events, exhibits, and on billboards.
Caleb Moore
Technical Aritst (for Games)
Caleb is a recent graduate of Gnomon, where he studied the games track with a focus on technical art.
Kris Yu
Associate Environment Artist
Kris is a full-time Associate Environment Artist at Blizzard Entertainment, Diablo IV team. She is responsible for level art and world-building.
