Brian Matyas is one of the lead concept designers ushering in the new era of the live-action Star Wars universe. Leading character concept development in the Lucasfilm ltd art dept, he is known for his work on the Emmy award-winning series The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, notably designing many characters including Din Djarin, Moff Gideon, Cara Dune, Greef Karga, Ahsoka Tano, Bo Katan, Boba Fett, and Fennec Shand. He has also contributed to the design of Galaxy’s Edge theme park, the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser, and Kabam’s Star Wars: Uprising. His clients in the entertainment and gaming industries include Warner Bros, Paramount, Legendary, Disney, Wizards of the Coast, 2K games, and Telltale Games.
