Gnomon Named One of America’s Top Animation Schools by The Hollywood Reporter

Gnomon is honored to be recognized as one of America’s Top Animation Schools in the inaugural list published by The Hollywood Reporter for 2025. The list highlights 13 institutions across the United States that are helping shape the next generation of animation artists, based on criteria such as graduation and retention rates, costs, alumni success, and more.

In an industry that’s constantly evolving, with new technologies and changing production needs, the continued demand for skilled animators makes this recognition a meaningful reflection of Gnomon’s place at the forefront of animation education.

With a curriculum that emphasizes both artistic excellence and technical fluency, Gnomon offers a comprehensive education in animation through its full-time programs, the Bachelor of Fine Arts and Certificate in Digital Production. Aspiring artists can also take individual courses that provide focused training in character animation, entertainment design, game art, visual effects, and more.
