The Rookies Ranks Gnomon #1 for VFX, Animation, and Game Design in the U.S.
The 13th Annual Rookies School Rankings were recently released, and we are thrilled to announce that Gnomon was ranked as the top school in the country for multiple categories!
We were ranked #1 VFX School in the US, #1 Animation School in the US, and #1 Game Design School in the US. In addition to the leading titles, Gnomon was also ranked in the top 10 Creative Schools globally!
"The institutions featured in this ranking have demonstrated unwavering dedication to providing exceptional education and fostering the growth of emerging talent, ensuring that students are well-equipped to make a significant impact in their respective industries," the Rookies website states.
The Rookies has become one of the largest and most prestigious contests for digital art students across the globe. Unlike other educational ranking systems, they rely solely on the submission of student artwork. This year, the results were based on over 5,500 student participants with 180 judges reviewing 58,000 projects!
"It’s always so rewarding for our school to receive accolades from the Rookies, and I know it means so much to our students, too," Beau Janzen, Gnomon VFX Education Lead, said. "They put in so much work and hear from us about how well they’re doing, but to then put their work out there and receive accolades from this international ranking, it’s a real shot of adrenaline for them."
