As evidence of high school completion, or equivalent, please submit an official hardcopy of one of the following documents via post:

• Official high school transcripts providing graduation date or proof of completion. High school diplomas will not be accepted.
• Certified copy of the student’s General Educational Development (GED) certificate, GED transcript, or approved equivalent.
• Official college/university transcripts that indicate completion of a bachelor’s or graduate degree.

Unsealed or unofficial transcripts will not be accepted.

If the School has reason to believe that the high school documentation is not valid or was not obtained from an entity that provides secondary school education, the School will evaluate the validity of a student’s high school completion that includes (1) receiving documentation from the secondary school that confirms the validity of the student’s diploma, and (2) confirming with or receiving documentation from the relevant department or agency in the state in which the secondary school is located that the secondary school is recognized as a provider of secondary school education.

All applicants are required to complete an interview with an Admissions Advisor for consideration to a full-time program. The purpose of the interview is to give Gnomon an opportunity to get to know each applicant better, as well as review school policies and the expectations of students attending Gnomon.

The interview also gives applicants an opportunity to discuss their portfolio and application submission in greater detail. Interviews should be conducted once other required materials have been submitted, and can be scheduled as a phone or Zoom interview.

All international applicants must submit the International Certification of Finances Form.

This form verifies that applicants have the ability to pay tuition and living expenses for themselves and their dependents (if applicable) while in the United States. All financial documents must be either submitted in English or accompanied by an official English translation. Monetary amounts must be in US Dollars or accompanied by a currency evaluation.

As evidence of high school completion, or equivalent, one of the following items must be submitted to an approved agency for evaluation to a U.S. High School diploma:

• Official High School transcripts providing graduation date or proof of completion. High School diplomas will not be accepted.
• Certified copy of the student's General Educational Development (GED) certificate or GED transcript.
• Official College/University transcripts that indicate completion of a Bachelor’s degree.

All international applicants must submit proof of high school completion, or equivalent, in the form of an official evaluation and an English translation of the applicant's official transcript.

Gnomon will need a copy of your Passport, which can be securely emailed to your dedicated Admissions Advisor.

All international applicants whose native language is not English are required to submit the results of the TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo score as evidence of English proficiency. Gnomon only accepts official Test Report Forms (TRFs) sent directly from the testing center or, for Duolingo, via the secure score report link.

The minimum requirements by Gnomon, are as follows. Applicants must meet one of the following:

• TOEFL score of at least 75 on the Internet-based test (IBT)
• IELTS band score of at least six (6) on a 9-point scale
• Duolingo English Test (DET) score of at least 105
